Corporate Accounting Manager
Job Description:This position reports to the Corporate Controller. The individual will support the accounting for corporate headquarters and all shared corporate functions. The main responsibilities will include HQ accounting, internal compliance, and consolidated reporting and managing the annual audit. This positions will manage at least one analyst and our accounts will be receivable by analyst. Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare, consolidate, analyze and distribute periodic financial and performance reporting.Complete monthly, quarterly and annual corporate financial requirements in accordance with current accounting standards.Review and monitor compliance with corporate policies and proceduresConduct and assist with special projects as requiredResearch impact of changing accounting standards on the financial statements. Assist in the implementation of these changes.Ensure intercompany positions are in balanceAssist in creating/improving new systems and processes Coordinate financial audits and liaison with external auditorsPerform planning & testing of internal controls through internal auditsSupervise accounts receivable and manage customer credit riskFinance administers for financial systems - Blackline, HFM, Oracle Supervisory Responsibilities: Minimum 2 individualsEducational and Other Skills Requirements:Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or Finance - RequiredCPA - plusPublic accounting experience - preferred4-7 years of progressive acExperience with internal controlsGood verbal and written communication skills Excellent Microsoft Excel skills POSITION DEMANDS: Position based in Indianapolis, INUse of appropriate PPE equipment/clothing when visiting manufacturing plants. What physical requirements are expected of this position? Sedentary Work: Lifting up to 15 pounds occasionally and/or a very minimum among of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, or pull or otherwise move objects.
