The School of Health Sciences of Centenary College of Louisiana invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in the Kinesiology Department beginning August 2026. Applicants must have a terminal degree in Biology or a related field, demonstrated strength or a commitment toexcellence in teaching, and a willingness to mentor undergraduate students in research. We seek candidates whose research, teaching and/or service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to engagement and inclusion of culturally diverse audiences in higher education, and particularly in Kinesiology.Centenary College seeks candidates with a strong commitment to student-centered pedagogy who can teach in an introductory Kinesiology course. Priority will be given to candidates with an interest in biomechanics or related disciplines. Candidates must be able to teach Biomechanics, as well as other lower- and upper-level undergraduate courses in Kinesiology, such as Motor Learning, Exercise Assessment and Prescription, etc. Centenary fosters a collaborative and interdisciplinary teaching environment, and encourages faculty to contribute to integrative coursework and scholarship that spans traditional academic boundaries.Centenary College of Louisiana is a selective, residential, national liberal arts college.
