It is our responsibility to provide a professional atmosphere based on sound business ethics, honesty and integrity.BenefitsDay Shift (No Overnights)Paid Holidays401(k) Plan with matchFull benefit package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability and supplemental plans.PTO & Sick TimeAbout the roleThe shipping picking lead oversees the picking department to ensure proper and accurate order picking and fulfillment by managing, problem solving, organizing and retrieving inventory.What you'll doPick, label and stage orders in shipping lanesResponsible for all daily outbound shipments with accuracyScan and verify order detailsRecord and manage all impaired or damaged merchandise itemsFollow SOPs and safety guidelinesSafely operate all picking equipment (IE: Sit Down Forklift, Stand Up Forklift, Cherry Picker and/or Deep Reach Truck)Keep work areas clean and organizedManage all equipment safety compliance completionTrain, lead and coach all equipment operatorsReport on all equipment and/or safety concernsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED preferredPrior warehouse experience a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and ExcelExcellent verbal and written communication skills, fluent in EnglishExcellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.Operate equipment (IE: sit-down forklift, stand-up forklift, Cherry Picker, Deep Reach Truck)Forklift certification preferredPhysical DemandsStanding, walking, reaching/bending, endurance, balancing/mobility, manual dexterity, exposure to varying conditions, repetitive motion, lifting to 50 lbs consistently.
