Computer Aided Dispatch Administrator
Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) Administrator Overview We are seeking an experienced Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) Administrator to support the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of public safety technology solutions. This role works closely with law enforcement, fire, and EMS organizations to deploy and support CAD, RMS, and Mobile platforms that are critical to emergency response operations. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience working within or consulting for Public Safety organizationsProven experience implementing, configuring, administering, or supporting CAD, RMS, and/or Mobile solutionsStrong subject matter expertise in public safety systems and workflowsIntermediate knowledge of IT infrastructure, including databases, networking, and virtualizationIntermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project, and SharePointAbility to obtain CJIS certification and successfully pass required background checks Preferred Qualifications Experience with Geographic Information Systems (GIS)Knowledge of cloud technologies and cloud-based environmentsExperience with CentralSquare CAD productsKey ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain public safety software applicationsSupport CAD, RMS, and Mobile solutions for emergency response organizationsAdminister application environments, including production, test, and training systemsConfigure system settings and business rules to meet operational requirementsPerform user administration, security management, and application maintenanceMaintain and update application documentation and technical proceduresProvide end-user support, training, and consultationCollaborate across teams to manage application integrations and dependenciesApply software updates, patches, and enhancementsEnsure system performance, reliability, security, and compliance with applicable standardsParticipate in an on-call rotation supporting mission-critical applicationsWhat You'll BringStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsExperience working in complex, mission-critical technology environmentsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detailCommitment to delivering reliable solutions that support public safety operationsWork EnvironmentCollaborative, cross-functional team environmentPublic safety technology and emergency services settingCombination of implementation, administration, support, and training responsibilitiesParticipation in rotational 24/7 support coverageImpact of the RoleThis position plays a vital role in supporting emergency response operations by ensuring the reliability, security, and effectiveness of critical public safety technology systems. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $75.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
