CMM Programmer (PC-DMIS) - Automotive

Location: Frankfort, IN (On-site, No relocation)Shift: 1st Shift (flexible start time: 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM)Pay: $30–$35/hour (based on experience)About the RoleWe are recruiting on behalf of a Tier 1 automotive seating manufacturing client in the Frankfort, IN area. This is a hands-on metrology/quality role focused on CMM programming and dimensional inspection. This position will be the only CMM programmer onsite, so the ability to work independently is important. Preference is for someone who can program from scratch, though editing existing programs may be part of the role as well.Parts inspected include complete seat assemblies, metal seat frames, foam, and trim components.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram and operate a DCC CMM using PC-DMIS (prefer from-scratch programming)Perform Romer arm scanning using PolyWorksInterpret blueprints and apply GD&T to develop inspection programsCreate inspection standards, validation sheets, and ballooned prints/documentationCalibrate and maintain measurement tools (calipers, height gauges, torque wrenches, load cells, etc.)Support internal and customer inspection/calibration requirementsRequired Qualifications3–5+ years of experience in a CMM programming role preferredStrong PC-DMIS programming and CMM operating experienceStrong blueprint reading skills and understanding of GD&TComfortable working independently in a manufacturing/quality lab environmentProficient with common measurement tools and Microsoft OfficePreferred QualificationsExperience with PolyWorks and Romer arm scanningAutomotive manufacturing quality experienceExperience creating inspection standards tied to ballooned printsJ-18808-Ljbffr
