Appliance Delivery and Installer Helper

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Delivery Helper to join our logistics team. In this role, you will assist in the efficient delivery of goods (Appliances and home improvement items) to our customers, ensuring that all items are handled with care and delivered in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, able to perform heavy lifting, and possess strong teamwork skills. Duties Assist the driver in loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring that all items are secured for transport. Help navigate delivery routes and provide support during route driving to ensure timely deliveries. Operate equipment such as pallet jacks as needed for moving heavy items loading and unloading the truck. Work with delivery driver handling merchandise with shoulder dollies and hand trucks inside customers homes. Installing appliances. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the truck and during deliveries. Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Adhere to all safety protocols while handling goods and operating equipment. Qualifications Experience in moving or warehouse operations is preferred not required we will train. Ability to perform heavy lifting with driver, as a team consistently throughout the day. Must be able to pass background check and drug test Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work well under pressure Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers. Willingness to learn new skills Trucks are based out of Bowdoin, be willing to meet driver in Bowdoin or at the store in Auburn. We run out of 2 stores. One in Auburn and one in Brunswick. Paid vacation after 1 year of employment. We run Monday through Saturday with every Sunday off. Floating days off. Average day can run anywhere between 4 hours and 10 hours.
