Mammography Technologist - Breast Care Center (Part-Time, Day Shift)
JOB DESCRIPTION Located in a tight-knit community in Kings County, Adventist Health Hanford has been serving the Central Valley since 1965. Job Summary: Performs specialized examinations of the breast to help in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. Performs all required procedures in the department while operating specialized equipment. Acts as a competent clinician who provides clinical care in a skilled and effective manner, utilizing appropriate technical and decision-making skills. Job Requirements: Education and Work Experience: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology: Required Experience as a Mammography Technologist: Preferred Licenses/Certifications: Radiologic Tech (RT) and Mammography Technologist: Required in CA American Registry of Radiologic Technologists â€" Radiography (ARRT-R): Required American Registry of Radiologic Technologists â€" Mammography (ARRT-M): Required in OR, Preferred in CA and HI Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification: Required Fluoroscopy license: Preferred in CA Venipuncture certification: Preferred in CA Facility Specific License/Certifications: Mammographic Radiologic Technology (MRT): Required Essential Functions: Completes patient education regarding the exam while promoting privacy and comfort for the patient.
