The Scrum Master will facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring Agile practices are followed and the team remains focused on sprint goals. This role will support the product owner in refining and managing the product backlog, helping to create clear and actionable user stories. The Scrum Master will remove impediments, coordinate with stakeholders, and promote effective communication within and across teams. The position also involves tracking team metrics, identifying areas for continuous improvement, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and delivery excellence.QualificationsStrong Agile delivery skills, including experience with Sprint Planning and managing User Stories to support predictable, value-driven iterations.Proficient Analytical Skills to interpret metrics, identify blockers, and support data-informed decisions for the team and stakeholders.Excellent Communication abilities to facilitate ceremonies, align cross-functional teams, and clearly convey priorities and progress.Understanding of Software Development practices and life cycle to effectively collaborate with engineering teams and anticipate delivery needs.Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile facilitator in a software development environment.Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.Relevant certification (e.g., CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master) is preferred but not required.Ability to work on-site in San Diego, CA, and collaborate with a diverse, cross-functional team.Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it
