Tax Manager - Hedge Fund

Vested Search are excited to partner with a globally established hedge fund who are looking to hire a newly created tax position in their NY HQThis role will report directly to the Global Head of Tax and run tax workstreams across partnership and compliance alongside external service providers, with responsibilities for both US and international tax projectsResponsibilities will include:Book-to-tax reconciliations and partnership allocationsInvestor tax estimates, K-1s, PFIC statements, and tax returns for funds and management company/GP vehiclesAEOI reporting (i.e., FATCA & CRS), as well 1065 and 8865, 5472, and 5472Entity Formation and Tax ProvisioningTax paymentsTax noticesPartner with finance, operations, legal, investments, and treasury functions to implement process and control.Applicants should ideally be CPA qualified and have between 2-7 years experience in public accounting /industry servicing the financial services industry on the above tax areas.
