Job Overview:
This position will provide administrative support and coordination to several key areas in our Austin Network Office.

General Responsibilities:
Receptionist and Office/Facilities Coordinator Responsibilities- Including but not limited to:
Greet visitors and direct them appropriately
Answer and screen telephone calls
Process incoming and outgoing mail; deliver outgoing mail to Post Office
Maintain the reception area
Make copies, send, and distribute faxes
Maintain copy and fax machines
Maintain office inventory
Complete and/or assist with projects as assigned by the Director of Operations
The role of the Financial Planning Associate is to assist the Financial Planning Department in providing exceptional service to the advisors and teams we support. The efforts of each member of the team is to improve the agency’s overall production, advisor retention, and most importantly, the client’s experience.
Risk Client On-boarding
Manage underwriting process which includes providing, or collaborating with others to provide:
Pre-filling applications
Pre-checking applications for completeness and accuracy
Submitting applications
Scheduling requirements and medical exams
Monitoring of the Daily Status Report (DSR) and take action on cases needing attention
Ongoing Risk Servicing
Process, or collaborate with others to complete risk product (POS) service requests such as name and address changes, beneficiary changes, updates to Insurance Service Accounts to facilitate the collection of payments, etc.
Investment Support:
Process, or collaborate with subscribers to open/fund investment accounts and investment service requests such as funds disbursements, account transfers and trade correction requests
This is a non-exempt role. Weekly time tracking will be required as compensation will be based on hours worked.
Qualifications:
Financial service or insurance industry experience preferred
Obtain Life and Health license within 90 days of hire
Organization and time management skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
High attention to detail with the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
Strong initiative and problem solving skills
