Project Executive – Industrial (PV Manufacturing & Chemical Plants) | Arizona | General ContractorGray Construction is seeking a Project Executive to lead the delivery of large-scale PV manufacturing facilities and chemical processing plants across Arizona. This is a critical leadership role focused on complex, high-value industrial projects supporting the growth of clean energy manufacturing and advanced process industries.The RoleAs Project Executive, you will oversee multiple ground-up industrial projects from early-stage development through commissioning and start-up. You will serve as the primary client interface while ensuring exceptional performance across safety, schedule, quality, and financial outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide executive oversight of PV manufacturing and chemical plant projects ranging from $100M to $1B+Lead preconstruction strategy, including cost planning, value engineering, constructability, and procurement of long-lead/process equipmentOversee delivery of complex process systems, including cleanrooms, chemical processing lines, high-purity piping, and specialty utilitiesDrive project execution excellence, ensuring alignment with aggressive schedules and operational readiness milestonesMaintain and grow client relationships with manufacturers, developers, and EPC partnersManage P&L performance, contracts, risk mitigation, and change managementBuild, mentor, and lead high-performing project teams across multiple concurrent projectsSupport business development and market growth within industrial, energy, and advanced manufacturing sectorsRequirements15–20+ years of experience with a General Contractor, focused on industrial, manufacturing, or chemical/process facilitiesProven track record delivering PV manufacturing, semiconductor, battery, or chemical plant projectsStrong knowledge of process engineering coordination, MEP systems, and specialty installations (cleanrooms, high-purity systems, hazardous materials handling)Experience with Design-Build, EPC, and GMP delivery modelsExcellent leadership, client management, and commercial acumenBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)Why JoinLead flagship industrial projects at the forefront of clean energy and advanced manufacturingJoin a top-tier GC with a strong pipeline across Arizona and the SouthwestPlay a key role in expanding PV manufacturing and chemical processing capabilities in the U.S.Competitive compensation, executive-level benefits, and long-term career growthThis is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced Project Executive to shape and deliver next-generation industrial facilities in one of the fastest-growing markets in the country.
