Motion Recruitment is partnering with a leading aerospace and defense organization in Medley, FL on a Buyer / Procurement Specialist contract opportunity.This is a hands-on purchasing role supporting supplier management, PO execution, RFQs/RFPs, negotiations, delivery tracking, and procurement operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.This is a great fit for someone with prior buying/procurement experience who enjoys working cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Program teams.What You'll DoManage purchase orders from RFQ through deliveryAnalyze supplier quotes and support negotiationsTrack open orders and supplier delivery performanceCoordinate with internal teams on schedule changes and escalationsIdentify and onboard new suppliers when neededSupport procurement KPIs including supplier OTD and cost savingsWhat We're Looking For2+ years of purchasing/buying experienceSAP experience requiredStrong Excel skillsExperience managing suppliers and procurement activitiesAbility to multitask and work independentlyAerospace or manufacturing environment experience preferredU.S. Citizenship required
