Walk In Registered Nurse PRN

Education/ExperienceMinimum Required:Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing.At least 1 year experience in health care setting with evidence of having obtained proficiency in those areas emphasized in the Registered Nurse curriculum.Preferred:Previous experience in a walk in / primary care/ specialty care setting.License/CertificationMinimum Required:Current NY State RN license.Documentation of current CPR certification required within 1 week of start of employment.Preferred:Office specific‐ IE: Oncology Cert, Lactation Consultant , Wound / Ostomy CertWork EnvironmentWork is performed in an office environment that requires working in proximity to other employees and patients.The office is air conditioned as well as heated.Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants.Fast‐paced environment including frequent interruptions.Frequent walking, standing and bending.Possibility of lifting of patients.Mobility may include access through a multi‐level facility, including climbing stairs.PPE‐ Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, Gloves per UHS Infection Control and CDC guidelines when appropriate.Age of Patients ServedAll Age GroupsHIPAA Roles‐Based Access to Patient InformationClinical ‐ Access to patient information that is not restricted (an example of restricted information is ARU) ‐ Level 3RequiredPreferredJob IndustriesOther
