Roof Repair Technician

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a skilled and experienced roof repair technician to join our team. As a repair technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to maintain and repair residential and commercial roof systems, including closeouts, assessing and pricing repairs, selling repairs, completing repairs, as well as delivering materials to job sites when needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing and a willingness to expand their credentials and grow with the business. **Responsibilities:** Perform routine and complex repairs on mostly residential roofs as well as occasional commercial roofs. - Proficiency in assessing, pricing, and understanding material needs for repairs - Willingness to converse with customers and sell repairs. - Good hygiene and presentation. - Work independently and as part of a team to ensure repairs are completed properly and efficiently. - Conduct site inspections to identify potential issues and take corrective action. - Collaborate with other team members to resolve any problems that may arise during the repair process. **Experience:** - 2+ years of experience in roof repairs and maintenance. - Proven experience in shingle, tile, and most flat roof systems. Metal is a bonus. - Familiarity with power tools and the ability to operate them safely and efficiently. - Willingness and ability to climb a two story ladder safely according to guidelines. - Strong understanding of roofing techniques and methods. - Ability to price and assess repairs. - Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods. **Skills:** - Shingle installation repair - Tile installation and repair - Flat roof installation and repair - Experience walking on ladders - Experience with power tools - Willingness to climb in attics when needed to assess repairs - Knowledge of roofing safety procedures - Experience working on construction sites - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong attention to detail and ability to complete tasks to a high standard.
