We are hiring aMarket Development Representativeon behalf of a leadingSoftware/SaaScompany client in the EdTech space.As a Market Development Representative you are a proactive, outbound-focused member who is responsible for generating qualified opportunities for Regional Vice Presidents. This position combines traditional sales development outreach with market research and segmentation, ensuring the organization connects with the right institutions using relevant, timely messaging.This role is well suited for individuals who excel in high‑activity, goal‑oriented environments and enjoy research‑driven outreach. Outbound Prospecting & Lead GenerationEngage prospective clients through phone calls, email outreach, LinkedIn messaging, and events to identify and qualify opportunitiesMaintain consistent daily and weekly outreach activity in line with MDR/SDR performance expectationsPersonalize messaging based on research into institutional needs, stakeholder roles, and global mobility objectivesProactively identify and generate new opportunities within defined target marketsMarket Research & Ideal Customer ProfilingResearch institutional structures, key stakeholders, and decision‑making processesAnalyze program models, enrollment trends, and organizational needs to prioritize outreach effortsMonitor market signals and insights to support territory planning and strategyQualification & Meeting CoordinationConduct initial discovery and qualification conversations with prospective clientsAssess needs and determine alignment with available solutionsSchedule well‑qualified discovery meetings for Regional Vice Presidents, ensuring clear and complete handoffsMaintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the CRM systemCross‑Functional CollaborationStay informed on product updates, campaigns, events, and competitive insightsPartner with Marketing to test messaging, refine outreach sequences, and improve engagementParticipate in coaching sessions, team meetings, and relevant industry eventsContribute to a collaborative, values‑driven team culture focused on learning and growthWhat We’re Looking For3–5 years of full‑time experience in sales, sales development, admissions, or a related field, ideally within:A quota‑driven environmentA high‑volume outbound roleA performance‑based settingDemonstrated ability to meet or exceed activity, pipeline, or revenue targetsExperience generating and qualifying leads through multi‑channel outreachStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsExperience using CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred)Professional experience in higher education, international education, admissions, or global mobilityBackground in SaaS, technology, or startup environmentsFamiliarity with study abroad, international student services, or risk management workflowsExperience analyzing spreadsheets, reports, or sales funnel metricsProfessional and thoughtful online or social media presenceWhat We OfferWork‑from‑home setupPTOPaid holidaysHMO upon regularization#J-18808-Ljbffr
