Process Operator
*Cardinal Ethanol in Colwich, Kansas, is seeking a motivated and safety-focused Process Operator to join our ethanol production team.*
*Key Responsibilities*
* Operate and monitor ethanol plant systems including fermentation, distillation, and drying processes
* Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and adjustments to maintain optimal production levels
* Collect samples and conduct basic lab testing to ensure product quality
* Maintain accurate logs, reports, and operational data
* Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory procedures
* Assist with light maintenance and equipment cleaning
* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors across shifts
*Qualifications*
* HS diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade education helpful
* Prior experience in ethanol, chemical processing, agriculture, or manufacturing is a plus
* Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
* Comfortable working in industrial environments (heights, confined spaces, varying temperatures)
* Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
* Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
