Headwater Companies is a Division of Franklin Electric, a publicly-traded company on the NASDAQ stock market under the symbol FELE.Join the Gicon team where you are valued, treated well, and part of a respected, winning organization!Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesTravels to customer location to present company products, services, and pricing information in a professional mannerSubmits appropriate paperwork to management such as expense reports and call reports in accordance with company requirementsMaintains appropriate records for the development of sales forecasts, territory potential, workload analysis, call programs, and delivery/sales routesCollects and reports competitive information to managementAttends training activities and trade shows to present information regarding company products and servicesRecommends the addition of new products and the modification/deletion of present products to the company’s offering, as appropriateProvides professional-level support on product information related to functionality, performance, and priceRecommends products and services that effectively meet customer needsProvides accurate information for documenting customer ordersApplies advanced-level product knowledge to assist customersReceives and resolves customer complaints and problems in a timely manner in cooperation with managementAssists in the field training of any salesman as requestedMaintains a neat and orderly work areaPerforms other related duties as neededPosition QualificationsStrong interpersonal skills, the ability to engage customers in conversations related to products and purchases, and the ability to develop business relationships with new customersAbility to influence through knowledge and expertiseMaintains confidentiality and uses discretion with business informationAbility to effectively present information and responds to questions in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organizationAbility to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situationsAcceptable MVR per Automobile Insurer guidelines; must be able to meet this requirement during annual insurance reviewHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); Bachelor’s Degree preferred.Three to five years of experience in sales, irrigation and/or water well experience preferredPhysical ActivitiesWhile performing the functions of this job, the employee is:Regularly required to sit and to talk or hearFrequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and to reach with hands and armsOccasionally required to stand or walk and to climb or balanceSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close visionThe employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.The company will make reasonable accommodations to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions and expectations.Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per yearFind more on Indeed or contact Talon cummings for more information.https://www.indeed.com/job/territory-sales-representative-711c2f8fb9730c9etalon.cummings@giconpumps.com
