Project Manager-Retail

If you have a passion for great design and are searching for a fun, collaborative environment with diverse resources, we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities:Design & Brand Oversight: Translate brand prototypes and corporate identity into site-specific designs, including space planning and fixture integration.Project Lifecycle Management: Lead projects through all phases, from initial site survey and conceptual design to construction administration and closeout.Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, landlords, consultants (MEP, structural), and general contractors.Technical Documentation: Oversee the production of high-quality construction documents, ensuring they meet building codes, ADA requirements, and local zoning laws.Budget & Schedule Control: Develop and monitor project work plans, budgets, and schedules, proactively identifying risks to prevent delays or cost overruns.Construction Administration: Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs (Requests for Information), and conduct on-site inspections to ensure design intent is maintained.Quality Control: Systematic checking and reviewing of designs, documents, and construction to find and fix errors, ensuring the final building meets standards, specifications, and client needs, preventing costly rework and delays by catching issues earlyQualifications:Bachelor's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture, or related field (required)Master's Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Architecture, or related field (preferred)Professional architectural registration (AIA/NCARB) is preferred5-10+ years in architecture, with a strong focus on retail or commercial rollouts.Knowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniquesExperience in construction document preparation and field observationExpert level in Revit and AutoCAD.Proficient use of SketchUp and other 3D modeling software, and experience with Adobe Creative SuiteFlexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of developmentExcellent written + verbal communication and client relationship management skillsWhy Moody Nolan?Our cultureMoody Nolan is a diverse workplace, founded on the principles of equity and inclusion.
