Operations Manager – Retail Shopping Center📍 On-site | Full-Time 🕒 Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM 📞 After-hours availability as neededOur client is seeking a hands-on Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy retail shopping center. This role manages property operations, vendor coordination, tenant requests, maintenance oversight, and contractor activity to ensure the property remains safe, functional, and well-maintained.ResponsibilitiesOversee security, housekeeping, maintenance, and contracted vendors Supervise 2 maintenance technicians Coordinate tenant buildouts, permits, inspections, and contractor activity Respond to tenant concerns and maintenance issues Manage repair quotes, estimates, and operational projects Ensure preventative maintenance and required testing are completed Support approximately 80 tenants across the property Handle occasional after-hours operational calls/emergencies QualificationsExperience in property, facilities, mall, or operations management Strong vendor and contractor management skills Ability to handle tenant escalations professionally Organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities Experience with commercial property operations preferredWork Environment & Expectations· This is an active, on-your-feet operational role that involves significant walking throughout the property daily, with no two days looking the same. · Ideal candidates remain professional under pressure, are solution-oriented, and are comfortable in a tenant-facing environment.· Availability outside standard business hours may occasionally be required for emergencies or urgent operational matters.Benefits:PTO/Sick Time: 15 DaysOpportunity to oversee a high-traffic retail property environment
