Operations Coordinator

Job Description Openwork, is hiring an Operations Coordinator for a global logistics and transportation client. This position is responsible for coordinating domestic and international shipments, managing customer accounts, and ensuring the smooth movement of bulk liquid chemicals, food products, and gases.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate ocean freight and truck transportation shipmentsManage customer accounts and provide exceptional customer serviceResolve shipment-related issues through timely communication and follow-upCoordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teamsProcess invoicing and transportation-related chargesMonitor shipment status and service levelsMaintain accurate records and documentation in company systemsIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costsQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required; bachelor's preferredMinimum 2 years of customer service experience required13 years of logistics, transportation, supply chain, or freight experience preferredStrong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Outlook, and WordExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentCustomer-focused with strong attention to detailSelf-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a teamJob Type:Full-timePay:$18.00$25.00 per hour DOESchedule: M-F 8AM-5PMIf interested and qualified, please APPLY NOW at www.openwork.com.
