This role will manage projects from award through completion, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality standards are consistently met.Role OverviewThe Project Manager will oversee structural and miscellaneous steel packages up to $2M in value, coordinating detailing, fabrication, and installation. The role reports to the Vice President and works closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and general contractors to deliver projects successfully.Key ResponsibilitiesManage structural and miscellaneous steel projects from kickoff through completionCoordinate detailing, fabrication schedules, and field installationServe as the main point of contact for general contractors and project stakeholdersLead project meetings and manage RFIs, change orders, and project documentationTrack budgets, schedules, and subcontractor scopesCoordinate closely with fabrication teams and field crews to ensure smooth executionCandidate RequirementsEssentialMinimum 5 years of structural steel project management experienceStrong knowledge of steel fabrication and erection processesPreferredTekla experienceExperience with AISC-certified fabricatorsBackground managing structural and miscellaneous metalsPersonal FitAdaptable and open to learning company processesPatient, collaborative, and a strong communicatorComfortable working in a family-run, team-oriented environmentCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $100,000 – $120,000401(k): 4% company matchHealth Insurance: 60% employer coverage (individual plan)PTO: Available after 1 year (negotiable)Relocation Support: Case-by-case basisWhy JoinAISC-certified fabrication and erection operationModern, clean fabrication facilityContinuous investment in equipment and technologyStable family-run company with steady growthClose-knit team environment
