Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OTR) Location: Janesville, WISetting: Outpatient Pediatric Private PracticeEmployment Type: Part-Time or Full-Time WellTech Partners is partnering with a growing pediatric therapy clinic seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join their expanding team. This opportunity is ideal for an OT who enjoys working with children and wants to be part of a clinic experiencing significant growth and community impact. Current Occupational Therapy Team Structure 1 OTR currently working 1 day per week2 COTAs on staffGrowing caseload creating supervision demandStrong referral pipeline with waiting lists in the community This new hire will play an important role in helping expand the clinics OT services and support the growing patient population. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plansProvide therapeutic interventions designed to improve physical, emotional, and functional abilitiesSupport children with developmental delays, sensory regulation challenges, and autismCollaborate with speech therapists, educators, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate careEducate families on therapy goals, home exercises, and strategies for daily livingMonitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessaryMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationStay current with occupational therapy research and best practices Qualifications Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited programCurrent state licensure (or eligibility) as an Occupational TherapistStrong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and occupational therapy principlesExperience working with pediatric populations, particularly children with autism, preferredExperience with sensory integration or pediatric feeding therapy is a plusAdult therapy experience is helpful but not requiredExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Why This Opportunity Stands Out Join a rapidly growing pediatric therapy clinicWork in a collaborative multidisciplinary environmentBe part of a clinic expanding to a brand new 8,400 sq ft therapy facilityHelp shape and grow the Occupational Therapy programMake a meaningful impact in a community with strong demand for pediatric therapy services The Occupational Therapist will work with individuals of all ages, including children with autism, helping them achieve rehabilitation goals and improve their quality of life through individualized therapeutic interventions. Experience with sensory regulation and pediatric feeding is a plus. Adult experience is also welcomed but not required. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to determine their needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' physical, emotional, and social functioning. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for each patient. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and strategies for daily living. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with medical standards. Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in occupational therapy to provide the highest quality of care. Provide support in various environments including home health settings, schools, inpatient facilities, and outpatient clinics.
