Role Summary Job Description You will be responsible for systematic problem solving and troubleshooting of molding and assembly equipment using strong mechanical ability, effective communication skills and demonstration of leadership skills.Main TasksMold SetterChange molds in 500 to 1500 Ton injection molding machinesEnsure proper Electrical, Pneumatic, and Hydraulic hook up for toolsChange robot end of arm toolsPerform basic machine and robot functions related to tool changeoversCheck and document machine settings Changeover and processing of Injection molding machinesChange injection molds in 500 to 1500 Ton injection molding machinesAdjust process for common defectsProgram pick and place robots to remove parts from machinesDocument process set-up parametersSystematic Problem Solving and Troubleshooting Investigate and resolve machine and robot issuesInvestigate and resolve product quality issuesPerformance and AccountabilityPerform changeover within a specified timeMaintain good housekeeping in line with our 5S principlesClean molds and repair tooling as necessaryEnsure product conformity to quality standards upon start upYour ProfileEducation: High School diploma or equivalent preferably with vocational education training in skilled trades or other related disciplineExperience:2-4 years of experience working with injection molding machine set-up and processingRequired Skills:Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software. Must complete New Employee Orientation and Quality Systems Overview training in addition to any training identified by department management.
