Registered Behavior Technician

Company Description Infinite Behavior Solutions is looking to hire! Must be comfortable delivering services in clinic and in school!We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our small but growing team. The RBT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans for children with behavioral challenges. This role is essential in providing support and guidance to clients and their families, fostering positive behavioral changes through evidence-based practices.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) located in Palm Bay, FL. The RBT will work directly with clients to implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans designed by a supervising Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Daily responsibilities include conducting one-on-one therapy sessions, collecting and maintaining accurate data, monitoring client progress, and helping clients develop social, communication, and life skills. The RBT will collaborate closely with clients, families, and the clinical team to ensure effective implementation of treatment plans.Responsibilities- Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by the supervising BCBA.- Conduct one-on-one sessions with clients, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction.- Collect and record data on client progress and behavior changes accurately.- Educate clients and their families about behavioral strategies and techniques.- Assist in developing care plans that align with the individual needs of each client.- Support clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as necessary.- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations regarding patient information.Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.Stay informed about medical terminology and maintain accurate medical records. Qualifications Knowledge of Behavior Analysis and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principlesSkills in Behavioral Intervention and understanding of Psychology in practical settingsStrong Communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, and team membersAbility to collect and analyze data accuratelyRBT certification required or willingness to complete certification within a specified timeframeHigh school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is a plusPatience, empathy, and a passion for working with individuals with special needs
