SENIOR GROUP CONTROLLERDes Plaines, ILKEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide enterprise-level oversight of accounting operations across all Plasticade Cortina Group locations, ensuring consistency & scalabilityLead consolidated financial reporting, including accurate & timely monthly, quarterly, & annual close at the group levelPartner with the CFO to drive financial strategy, accounting policy, & organizational alignmentOversee & guide site-level Controllers & accounting teams, ensuring standardized processes & accountabilityLead integration efforts for acquired businesses, including alignment of systems, reporting, & internal controlsEstablish & maintain enterprise-wide accounting policies, internal controls, & GAAP complianceDirect external audit processes & serve as the primary liaison for auditors at the consolidated levelDrive process improvements, standardization, & ERP/system optimization across multiple entitiesSupport executive decision-making through financial insights, performance analysis, & cross-functional collaborationPOSITION REQUIRMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership roles in multi-entity or multi-site environmentsPrior experience at the Controller level or above, with exposure to enterprise-level responsibilitiesStrong knowledge of GAAP, consolidation, internal controls, & financial reportingDemonstrated experience leading through others (e.g., Controllers or site finance leaders)Experience in high-growth, acquisitive, or integration-heavy environmentsPREFERRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: CPA strongly preferredStrong understanding of manufacturing environments & cost accounting (oversight level vs. transactional ownership)Experience driving standardization across multiple business units or locationsERP transformation & multi-entity systems integration experienceAbility to balance strategic leadership with selective hands-on involvement when neededStrong executive presence & ability to influence across functions & locationsChange management & organizational transformation experienceWORK ENVIRONMENT/ PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Daily in office schedule; occasional hybrid work may be approved based on managerial discretion & business needsWhen in office: moderate noise levels & prolonged computer use. Occasional presence in non-climate-controlled, high-noise production & warehouse areas where appropriate PPE must be wornCompensation: $180,000 - $200,000
