SUMMARYReceive, store, and issue equipment, material, supplies, merchandise, and tools. Compile stock recordsfor stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESEnsures orderly distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materialsand supplies where needed, and staging finished product for final distribution.Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recordinglocation of inventory, and reporting shortages.Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on productionorders, supply requests and material requests.Measures and cuts cable/wire to fill production ordersOperates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials onto and off vehicles for transport.Transport material or supplies to other departments.Deliver and pick-up material, as required.Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.Determine methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity,height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.Store articles in bins, on floor or shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or typeof material.Maintain record of all materials issued.Cycle counts - WeeklyReview monthly report to maintain limited shelf-life material.Close out and sign off on completed work orders.Follow Safety Policies and Procedures.Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective workenvironment.Ensure activities are conducted in accordance with Atec International Standards Organization(AS9100/ISO) policies and correct and report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.AS9100/ISO SPECIFIC DUTIESBe familiar with and understand Atec Quality Policy and company objectives.Understand required AS9100/ISO specific Procedures and Work Instructions.Complete all records required by Procedures and Work Instructions.Participate in Atec Continuous Improvement activities as appropriate (including Strategic Planning, AIM,Suggestion box, etc.).Participate in AS9100/ISO training as required.Cooperate with Auditors.Report any deviations to appropriate area manager/supervisor.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or General Education Degree; or 1 to 5 years related experience and/or training; orcombination.Valid driver's license and safe driving recordPrevious stock or inventory experience a plusPrevious experience operating a forklift or pallet jack a plusCERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONSValid Texas Driver's LicensePHYSICAL DEMANDSEmployee is frequently required to stand, stoop, sit, kneel, walk; reach with hands and arms; climb orbalance; and lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.WORK ENVIRONMENTNoise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Extended work hours and/or travel may occasionally be required.www.Atec.comEqual Opportunity Employer.
