This is a critical executive leadership role responsible for leading a large-scale global engineering organization across cloud infrastructure, edge/store systems, payments, and customer-facing retail platforms. The business already operates at an enormous scale across global retail environments, supporting high-volume, mission-critical commerce systems used daily by some of the world’s largest retailers. They are now investing heavily into the next generation of platform engineering, AI-enabled software development, and operational modernization — and this role sits at the center of that evolution. This is not a traditional engineering management role. The mandate is to build a world-class engineering system that improves velocity, reliability, customer outcomes, and engineering efficiency simultaneously.
