Project Manager | Concrete & Structural Steel

Position: Lead Project Manager - focusing on concrete foundations, structural steel and core and shell work in New York CitySalary: $145,000-$175,000Company: A Top, Established Concrete/ Structural Steel Contractor in NYCA top concrete foundation, structural steel contractor based in Midtown Manhattan is looking to bring on a polished and experienced Project Manager to drive projects in their massive portfolio!Key Responsibilities - Manage concrete construction projects from preconstruction through closeout - Prepare and review budgets, cost estimates, and schedules - Prepare project requisitions as required - Coordinate with Insurance department to ensure Sub-contractor/Vendor compliance - Coordinate with AP department for PO's & review of project invoicing - Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams - Oversee procurement of materials (rebar, concrete, formwork, etc.) - Monitor project progress, productivity, and costs/budgetary control - Ensure compliance with NYC DOB, OSHA, and site safety requirements - Coordinate closely with internal Superintendent & field team to ensure schedule & deadlines are maintained - Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals - Prepare & maintain project specific logs for various activities & occurrences - Review contract drawings and generate any RFI's regarding constructability & potential design issues. - Conduct site visits and quality control inspections - Quantify & Manage change orders including quantifying and pricing impacts - Assist with or perform project estimating as required - Lead project meetings and provide regular reportingQualifications - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred) - 5+ years experience managing concrete construction projects in NYC - Strong knowledge of concrete forming, reinforcement, and placement - Familiarity with NYC DOB codes and regulations - Experience with scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project) - Proficiency in Excel and construction management software (Procore, Autodesk Build) - Strong understanding of construction estimating and cost control - Strong communication and leadership skillsPreferred Skills - Experience with high-rise or large commercial projects - Knowledge of ACI standards and best practices - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
