Apply via Dice today!We are seeking a Senior QA Analyst / Software Test Analyst to support Treasury systems within the State of Michigan’s Department of Technology, Management, and Budget. This role involves coordinating and executing testing activities, ensuring quality delivery of applications, and collaborating closely with business and technical teams.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Business Analysts and development teams across requirements, development, and testing phasesDesign and develop test scenarios aligned with business acceptance criteriaPerform system, functional, and integration testingEnsure appropriate test coverage, including coordination with third-party vendorsConduct QA checks to validate readiness of code before entering test environmentsParticipate in meetings/workshops for requirement validation and test planningDevelop, execute, and maintain structured test scripts and regression packsTrack defects, coordinate re-testing, and validate issue resolutionPrepare reports, dashboards, and documentation for test progress and outcomesAct as liaison between business units and IT teams for all testing activitiesManage risks, issues, and quality assurance throughout the testing lifecycleRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in QA requirements analysis and test planning5+ years of experience in test execution and defect tracking5+ years of experience with QA tools (Rational, HP ALM, or similar)5+ years of backend functional testing experienceStrong experience in reviewing and enhancing test plans for full coverageExcellent communication and collaboration skillsBachelor’s degree requiredPreferred QualificationsExperience with SAP FinancialsExperience with GenTaxExperience with Oxygen XML Editor
