Salesclerk Parts DepartmentReports to: Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor on duty.Classification: Non-Exempt / Hourly, Part-TimeJOB SUMMARY:Deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales growth, and uphold our Gold Standards of Operational Excellence by executing Company procedures with efficiency and precision.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Help customers locate merchandise and provide relevant product knowledge.Ensure proper product rotation while stocking merchandise.Operate handheld Telxon devices to maintain accurate inventory records.Remove damaged merchandise from the sales floor as needed.Follow Company guidelines for department merchandising and ad setup.Maintain a safe and clean work environment while following loss prevention and safety procedures.Assist customers with special order requests and sales transactions.Maintain product stock and merchandising on a regular basis.Participate in store meetings and complete all required Outfitter training.Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, management, and co-workers.Follow all applicable Company, local, state, and federal guidelines.Ensure that your work area is clean and adequately supplied to complete assigned duties.Operate cash registers and assist with customer carryout on an as-needed basis.Availability required for evenings, weekends, and holidays.Utilize pallet jacks and/or tow motors to support daily operations.Consistent attendance for regularly scheduled work shifts is required.Other Duties & ResponsibilitiesOther duties and responsibilities that may be required as assigned to meet the needs of the business.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Applicants must meet a minimum age requirement of 16 years.Strong customer service and communication skills.Demonstrate a positive attitude and strong collaboration skills with team members who are growth oriented.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the position. This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and climbing for the entire shift. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds, occasionally engaging in assisted lifting over 50 pounds.
