Databricks Platform Engineer

Senior Databricks Administrator (AWS) – 12+ years of IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on Databricks Administration.Expertise in Databricks Workspace Administration, Unity Catalog, RBAC, SSO, SCIM, and platform security.Strong experience managing clusters, SQL Warehouses, multi-workspace environments, and Hive Metastore.Hands-on experience with AWS IAM, S3, VPC, networking, Secrets Manager, and cloud governance.Responsible for platform governance, monitoring, auditing, runtime upgrades, compliance, and access management.Experience optimizing Databricks performance, FinOps, pricing, and overall platform cost.Good understanding of Databricks Lakehouse, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Data Engineering workflows for troubleshooting.Mandatory Skills: AWS Databricks, Unity Catalog, RBAC, Security Administration, Cluster Administration, SQL Warehouses, Hive Metastore, Platform Governance, Monitoring & Compliance.
