Requisition ID: R-104944About The RoleWe are seeking a RTV (Return to Vendor) Assistant to join our RMA department and to assist in order processing, order entry and other duties as assigned. This position will be based in Secaucus, NJWhat You Will DoCount, sort and verify all incoming returned products to verify receipt of items on requisitions or invoicesExamine the returned items to verify conformance to specificationsProcess orders; receive orders, close orders and heavy data entry responsibilitiesWork with Warehouse department on storage of returned particles according to identifying informationCompiles information and reports on use of stock, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, damage to stock, location changes and etc.Acquire approvals from management to process RMAs for replacement / creditCoordinate the availability of parts for shipping and communicate with both internal departments and external customer on the status of RMAsComply and follow all procedures within company policyMay perform other duties and responsibilities as assignedWhat You BringDemonstrated ability to work in a self-directed, high energy, fast paced environmentStrong organizational and time management skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and ExcelKnowledge in using SAP.Some previous office assistant / administrative experienceGood communication skills; both written and verbalLifting up to 40 lbs. may be required- physical moving of products from one area to anotherAbility to effectively address issues at all levels of managementCollaborative, flexible and adaptableAbility to see the business needs through system requirement for smooth integration of the projectEducation: Associates Degree in Electronics or a Certificate of Completion from a Technical School preferredExperience: Minimum 1 year of administrative related experience. Inventory management and/or shipping/receiving experience preferredZT Systems assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package is created for all our employees. The typical base salary for this position is expected to be around $17/hr. If hired, the final base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into consideration experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.Base salary is just one component of ZT Systems total rewards philosophy.
