Job DescriptionPrepare detailed electrical estimates for commercial, industrial, and design/build projects. Review drawings, specifications, and scopes to develop accurate takeoffs and pricing. Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate vendor and subcontractor quotations. Work closely with Project Managers to support bid strategy, budgeting, and project handoff. Develop bid proposals, inclusions/exclusions, and clarification documents. Participate in pre-bid meetings, site walks, and client discussions as needed. Support change order pricing and ongoing cost updates during project execution. Contribute to process improvement within the estimating department as the team continues to grow. The Successful ApplicantA successful Senior Electrical Estimator should have: 5+ years of electrical estimating experience or a background as a journeyman electrician transitioning into estimating Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation methods, materials, and labor productivity Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications Proficiency with standard estimating methodologies (conceptual, design/build, detailed takeoffs) Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills Experience collaborating across estimating, operations, and project management teams Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines What's on OfferCompetitive annual salary ranging from $130,000 to $150,000 USD.
