We consistently seek ways to enhance our operations, support ongoing growth, and expand our services across the Northeastern and Mid-Atlantic regions and beyond.The Senior Claims Analyst is responsible for managing a portfolio of complex claims, including Workers’ Compensation, general liability, auto liability, and property-related claims. This role partners closely with internal teams, insurance carriers, and outside counsel to investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims while identifying risk transfer and subrogation opportunities. The position also supports insurance renewals and bonding requirements.Responsibilities:· Manage a claims desk including Workers’ Compensation, utility hits, third-party liability, equipment damage, and subrogation claims.· Prepare internal claim assessments and collaborate with adjusters and outside counsel to develop effective claim strategies.· Review claims for risk transfer and subrogation opportunities and pursue recovery where applicable.· Oversee and manage in-house claim settlements.· Partner with Operations and Safety teams to investigate claims and gather necessary documentation, particularly for litigated matters.· Coordinate with Operations to identify and prepare appropriate deposition witnesses.· Assist the Claims and Risk Manager with the annual insurance renewal process.· Work with brokers and project management teams to secure bonds as required by contract.· Access and utilize carrier systems to generate and analyze claim reports.· Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications:· Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial claims handling, including General Liability, Auto Liability, and Workers’ Compensation.· Experience in the construction or utility industry preferred.· Proven ability to manage claims retained in-house and communicate effectively with field personnel and claimants to resolve issues.· Technical proficiency with carrier portals and internal claims management systems.· Experience working with outside counsel and adjusters on litigation matters, including discovery and deposition coordination.· Familiarity with surety bond programs and certificate of insurance processes.· Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.· Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and collaboratively.Education:· Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.Elecnor Hawkeye provides a comprehensive benefits package designed to ensure both your physical health and financial security, as well as that of your dependents.
