This is an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects that make a real impact on communities and the environment. As part of our collaborative and innovative team, you will contribute to geotechnical investigations, design, and analysis for a variety of infrastructure and development projects. We are looking for a motivated professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality solutions.What You'll Do:Perform specific geotechnical engineering calculations, including foundation bearing capacity, slope stability, and liquefaction analysisConduct field exploration and create logs for test borings/pits with soil descriptionsCoordinate and perform quality control testing during grading using a nuclear gaugePerform subsurface investigations for residential, commercial, and public works projectsReview grading and foundation plans for conformancePerform or supervise field technician workPrepare design requirements, technical reports, and proposalsWhat You'll Bring:Bachelor's Degree, in Geotechnical Engineering M.S. preferred0 to 3 year's experienceEngineering in Training (EI) Certification CompletedProficiency with Microsoft OfficeAbility to analyze data/reports, geotechnical field situations, and conditionsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, technical instructions, and procedural manualsEffective technical writing, strong communication, and time management skillsComfortable working outdoors in varying conditions and lifting equipment as neededOccasional out-of-town travelMust have a valid Driver's LicenseMust be able to pass a drug screen, pre-employment physical, and background checkSalary Range:$72,000-$77,000Benefits:Flexible Work EnvironmentPaid Parental LeaveMedicalDentalVisionLife and AD&D InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term Disability401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off + HolidaysVerdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
