Job Title: IT Application Support AnalystLocation: Onsite East Moline ILContract: 12 monthsPay Rate: $23/hrPosition OverviewThe Dealer Business Specialist will primarily be responsible for supporting dealer-facing business applications and enterprise systems. This role focuses on application support, issue analysis, troubleshooting, customer service, and ensuring smooth operation of business-critical software systems.Candidates with only infrastructure, desktop support, or networking backgrounds are not a fit. The hiring manager is specifically seeking candidates with hands-on application support experience.This position follows a hybrid work schedule, requiring 4 days onsite per week. Fully remote candidates will not be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide application and business system support for dealer-facing platformsAnalyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software application issues within established processesSupport end users, dealers, and internal business teams with timely issue resolutionEscalate complex technical or functional issues appropriatelyMaintain high responsiveness and customer service standardsCommunicate technical and functional information clearly to both technical and non-technical usersFollow defined support workflows and service management proceduresBuild functional and technical expertise across supported applications and systemsAssist with troubleshooting integrations, security access, and data-related issuesRequired Experience & Skills1+ years of experience supporting software applications or business systems1+ years of experience in:Application SupportService Desk SupportCustomer Support EnvironmentStrong troubleshooting and issue-resolution skillsExcellent communication and customer-facing support abilitiesExperience following support processes and escalation proceduresStrong learning mindset and adaptabilityAccounting / Business KnowledgeFoundational understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)Knowledge of:BookkeepingGeneral LedgerAccount ReconciliationsFinancial StatementsPreferred / Nice-to-Have SkillsExperience with dealership operations or dealer business applicationsFamiliarity with:ITILLean Service Management (LSM)Experience with Microsoft technologies:Microsoft OfficePower PlatformDynamics 365Basic understanding of:Identity ManagementMulti-Factor Authentication (MFA)Security FundamentalsWorking knowledge of SQL for troubleshooting and data analysisAwareness of APIs and system integrations
