City DispatcherR+L Carriers is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented City dispatcher to work in our Irving, TX Service Center office.City Dispatcher, $60,000 to $70,000 based on experienceFull-Time, Monday - Friday, Various ShiftsEarn 1 week of vacation after 90 days of employment.Come and experience the difference with R+L CarriersResponsibilities Will Include:Driver and Freight Handler ManagementCoordinate Dock Operation and Driver/Freight Handler schedulingEnsure Safety ComplianceEnsure quality freight handling procedures are followedTimely dispatching of LTL LoadsOther duties as assigned by the Service Center ManagerRequirements / Qualifications:Candidates must have proven basic leadership experience.Must have the ability to lead in a fast-paced environment.Strong Organizational / Communication/ and Logistical skills with solid problem-solving abilities.Knowledge of quality freight handling preferred.Must have computer skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office products.Knowledge of the City, and surrounding areasPrior LTL leadership experience is strongly preferred.
