** CONTRACT PROGRAM MANAGER REQUIRED, US BASED **An experienced senior level technology Program Manager is required by my global financial services client to work on their US client delivery programme. You will be based out of their Louisville, Kentucky site on a hybrid basis with some ad-hoc travel to Nashville. This is a day rate, long term contract position.The Programme Manager is responsible for leading and governing complex programmes of work that span multiple projects, teams, and functions across the organisation. They play a critical role in aligning and optimising initiatives, ensuring a cohesive and synchronised approach to delivery that achieves strategic objectives and realises measurable business benefits.Specifically, this Programme Manager will lead a programme of work aligned to Client Delivery in my clients US Market. The individual will lead a client-facing programme to develop and implement capabilities internally and with the client(s) to deliver agreed commercial models.Client-facing experience is required, working with large client organisations with engagement from C-level executives to account teams and SMEs. Experience working with Technology teams and wider cross-functional teams to shape and deliver an end to end plan is also required.The Programme Manager will have a material level of impact to the business due to the nature of the projects / workstreams they will be responsible for:They must be a confident and articulate communicator with the ability to deliver challenging messages and influence stakeholders at all levelsSkilled in stakeholder management, working with stakeholders at all levels from CxO to Director and Head of level.The Programme Manager will work with stakeholders up to and including Senior Leadership & Head Off and be able to demonstrate the following:Use their skills to ensure that stakeholders support the project even in situations they may disagree with to ensure overall buy-inManages internal and external stakeholder expectations and business sponsorship, quickly establishing credibility and encouraging trust and ongoing collaborationAnticipates and mitigates conflict and shapes stakeholder views to gain long-term commitment to the desired delivery outcomeKey Skills (not exhaustive)Proven experience and expertise in Project Management delivery across multiple delivery methods (Waterfall, Agile etc..)Experience of using Agile tooling e.g. JIRA & Confluence, and experience of leading & working as part of an Agile teamProcess and organisational change experience requiredExperience in regulated financials services experience is required.Strategic thinking:Ability to tie project tasks to key business outcomesAbility to understand and resolve complex issues across multiple teams, including business, and technology teamsStakeholder Relationship:Ability to create a shared sense of purpose for all project stakeholdersProactive aligns all stakeholders on what’s best for the business and its customersHelps remove friction points and addresses concerns that may otherwise materialise into project delaysCommunicator:Ability to actively listen and communicate effectively to stakeholders up to and including senior leadership and Head Off’sAbility to remain composed during difficult situations / under pressureCollaboration-oriented:Ability to bring teams together to obtain the best resultsFosters relationships and collaboration to create an environment where team members can work together effectively and promotes a sense of team cultureFacilitate open and transparent communication among team members, stakeholders, and clientsSet goals and make meaningful contributions, encouraging delivery and best practiceNegotiation / Influencing:Ability to resolve conflict with integrity and humour in a sometimes tense and conflicting situation / environmentCustomer Centricity:Promotes value of customer outcomes with teams and peers and ensures work efforts achieve theseCoordinates outcome-focused solutions and opportunitiesWorks with the business to solve complex business problems that allows the frictionless flow of value to our customers. Understand overarching business goals and objectives and translate them into actionable initiatives.Produces the overall plan and governance framework in collaboration with commercial stakeholders for the programme of work.Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and organisational roadblocks that hinder teams' progress. Collaborate with various stakeholders to address these challenges, streamline processes, and improve communication and collaboration across all departments.Champion a collaborative and high-performance culture within cross-functional teams. Provide guidance and mentorship to teams, fostering an environment that promotes innovation, continuous improvement, and learningOversee the end-to-end delivery of complex initiatives, ensuring that they are executed efficiently, meet quality standards, and deliver the intended value to the organization and its customers.Provide transparency on the programme through regular SteerCos and reportingIdentify potential risks and challenges that could impact the successful delivery of initiatives.
