Job Title: Contract Brand Manager (Potential for Extension)Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid - 3 days onsite; Tuesday-Thursday required)Duration: 3-month contract (starting mid-May) OverviewThis is a contract opportunity for a Brand Manager to provide coverage during a leave period, with the potential for extension based on business needs. The role is focused on full ownership of brand and product marketing, with a strong emphasis on driving business impact and commercial performance. The ideal candidate will operate with a “brand owner” or mini-general manager mindset, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn overall brand performance, including P&L accountability and market share growthConduct competitive analysis and translate insights into actionable strategiesDevelop and execute integrated marketing plans and campaignsManage product assortment, including SKU optimization and lifecycle decisionsLead pricing strategy to maximize profitability and competitivenessPartner cross-functionally with digital, eCommerce, and global teamsDrive data-informed decision-making to improve brand performance and outcomesRequired QualificationsStrong business acumen with a proven ability to drive commercial resultsExperience in brand and product marketing within product-based industriesBackground in medical device (preferred), pharma, or similar industriesDemonstrated ability to operate with a brand owner or general management mindsetExpertise in competitive analysis, market insights, and positioningAbility to balance strategic thinking with executional excellencePreferred QualificationsExperience with SAP or similar systems for SKU/product management and analysisBackground working in matrixed or global organizationsAdditional InformationThis role requires someone who can quickly step in and take full ownership of the brandA blend of strategy and execution is critical for successIdeal candidate is commercially driven, with a focus on measurable business outcomes rather than purely creative marketing efforts
