With multiple locations in Bellevue WA, Moses Lake WA, Parma ID, and Canby OR, PumpTech is known for technical excellence, collaborative partnerships, and delivering high-performance solutions that serve communities across the region.Position OverviewPumpTech is seeking a driven and consultative Regional Sales Manager based out of our Parma, ID office at Riverside Equipment Services to lead regional growth while carrying an individual sales target. This is a true player/coach role — ideal for a sales professional who thrives on building relationships, developing teams, and delivering measurable results.You will shape regional sales strategy, mentor and develop team members, and directly contribute to revenue growth across key markets. This role offers high visibility, cross-functional collaboration, and a clear path for long-term career advancement.Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 Base Salary + CommissionTravel & TerritoryHybrid and field-based role50–60% travel requiredPrimary Sales Territory: Southern Idaho & Northern UtahRegional Area of Responsibility: Eastern WA, Eastern OR, ID, MT, Northern UTMust maintain a good driving record and be comfortable traveling throughout the territoryKey Responsibilities:Leadership & StrategyDevelop, execute, and report on regional sales strategy to ensure team goals are clearly defined and achievedLead, coach, and mentor sales team members through regular one-on-ones, ride-alongs, and performance management toolsFacilitate onboarding, training, and ongoing development utilizing internal resources and external manufacturer/industry trainingPartner with the General Manager and HR to address performance and team development needsDrive customer acquisition while strengthening retention and expansion of existing accountsCollaborate with marketing on lead generation initiatives, online presence, conferences, and trade showsEducate customers and stakeholders on products, services, and technical solutionsSales & Business DevelopmentBuild consultative relationships with municipal, industrial, commercial, and OEM clientsDevelop innovative flow management solutions tailored to customer applicationsGenerate a strong opportunity pipeline to meet or exceed revenue, gross profit, and closing ratio targetsCollaborate with engineers and inside sales to develop system specifications, quotes, submittals, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)Apply pricing tools and market intelligence to maximize profitability while delivering customer valueDetermine equipment sizing and component selection for varied applicationsManage projects from order through design, purchasing, manufacturing, delivery, and startup (cradle-to-grave project management)Serve as primary liaison between customers and internal teams regarding service, pricing, and project statusConduct joint sales calls with vendors and attend trade shows and industry conferencesMaintain accurate customer account information and documentationStay current on new products, services, and technical advancements (including manufacturer training travel as needed)Knowledge & SkillsSelf-starter with strong initiative and driveStrategic and analytical thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market trendsDemonstrated success in consultative B2B salesStrong technical aptitude; experience with pumps or related equipment preferredExcellent communication and listening skills across all organizational levelsAbility to set ambitious yet achievable goalsStrong time management and multi-project prioritization skillsEffective coach and mentor who fosters trust and growthRequired QualificationsHigh School Diploma required; post-secondary coursework in Sales or Marketing preferredWorking knowledge of flow management equipment in industrial and municipal markets, including pump systems, associated equipment, and basic hydraulics1–3 years of progressively responsible B2B sales experience selling tangible productsExperience collaborating with customers to define product needs and develop solutionsStrong analytical, written, and verbal communication skillsStrong project and time management skills (additional PM training may be required)Proficient computer skillsValid driver’s license and ability to travel regularlyPrevious experience in pump, controls, electrical, and/or service sales requiredOther Important RequirementsCompletion of the Wonderlic Assessment.
