Senior Medicinal Chemist

A company is looking for a Senior Medicinal Chemist in Drug Discovery. Key Responsibilities Apply organic and medicinal chemistry strategies to address unmet drug discovery needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver scientific expertise and strategic direction in drug design problems Lead and manage external chemistry partners to deliver high-quality data in a timely manner Required Qualifications PhD in synthetic organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, or a related discipline At least 3 years of relevant experience in drug discovery within the private sector Experience in structure-based and ligand-based drug discovery programs Outstanding synthetic chemistry background with a proven track record in medicinal chemistry Experience managing multiple CRO resources and external chemistry partners
