*General Electronics Assembler* *Position Summary* The General Electronic Assembler is responsible for assembling, inspecting, and testing electronic products and circuit board assemblies in a contract manufacturing environment. This position follows established work instructions, drawings, bills of materials, and quality standards to ensure products are assembled accurately, efficiently, and consistently. Join our team as an Electronic Assembler and be part of a dynamic environment where your skills are valued *Essential Responsibilities* * Assemble electronic products, circuit board assemblies, cable assemblies, and related components according to work instructions, drawings, and specifications. * Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools, power tools, fixtures, and other production equipment. * Install circuit boards, connectors, hardware, wiring, labels, and other components into finished assemblies. * Follow bills of materials, assembly drawings, engineering instructions, and manufacturing documentation. * Perform visual and mechanical inspections throughout the assembly process. * Identify and report defective components, workmanship issues, or discrepancies in documentation. * Perform basic functional checks and testing as required by work instructions. * Use measuring tools and inspection equipment as necessary to verify product conformity. * Maintain accurate production and inspection records. * Follow ESD, safety, cleanliness, and material-handling procedures. * Maintain a clean and organized work area. * Communicate production issues, material shortages, quality concerns, and process improvements to supervisors or leads. * Work effectively with engineering, quality, materials, and production personnel. * Support continuous improvement activities and help identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and safety. * Perform other production-related duties as assigned. *Qualifications* * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Previous experience in electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, mechanical assembly, or contract manufacturing preferred. * Ability to read and follow written work instructions, assembly drawings, and basic technical documentation. * Ability to use common hand tools and small power tools. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Good hand-eye coordination and ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Basic computer skills. * Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors. *Preferred Skills* * Experience working in an ESD-controlled environment. * Familiarity with circuit boards and electronic components. * Experience with IPC workmanship standards. * Experience with soldering or rework is a plus. * Ability to read basic electrical or mechanical drawings. * Experience using calipers, torque drivers, microscopes, or other inspection equipment. * Previous experience in a contract manufacturing or high-mix/low-volume production environment. · Prior experience working on machines that are computer controlled requiring setup · Prior CNC experience desirable *Physical Requirements* * Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, and move throughout the production area for extended periods. * Ability to use small hand tools and perform fine-detail assembly work. * Ability to routinely lift and move materials or finished products within the requirements of the position. * Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements. * Ability to wear required PPE and comply with ESD and clean-work-area requirements. *Work Environment* This position works primarily in an electronics manufacturing and assembly environment. The employee will work around electronic components, circuit board assemblies, mechanical hardware, production equipment, and hand tools.
