Richard Construction Inc. (RCI) is currently seeking an experienced SPI Scaffold Builder.Position SummaryIndustrial SPI Scaffold craftpersons will build, modify, and demolish scaffold from various heights. The position will also be required to communicate and interact with customers and clients as to various needs when building scaffolds.Qualification Highlights:Must be able to read blueprints, sketches, drawings, or building plansMust possess all Knowledge, Skills and Abilities for position - see belowMust be willing to assist other crafts while not actively working on a Scaffolding projectMust be able to meet all physical requirementsMust be willing to follow all safety rules and regulationsMust have all required toolsMust be able to regularly and reliably show up at the assigned job siteMust meet all safety and security requirements at the assigned job sitePosition Responsibilities:Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the scope of work: locations in space (coordinates), quantities, and sizes of materials requiredIdentify all tools required for tasksIdentify safety risks and precautions required to eliminate those risksMeasure, mark, and cut required wooden/metallic materials to required specificationsMust be able to work at heights from ladders or scaffolds safely, using appropriate fall protection when applicableClean up work areasMust be willing to assist other crafts and perform additional job duties while not performing primary craft duties (be a Team player)Required Qualifications:FOREMAN: Must have 4+ years working as a Scaffold Foreman on an industrial construction projectLEADMAN: Must have 2+ years working as a Scaffold Leadman on an industrial construction projectMust be able to read blueprints, plans, and drawings proficiently to perform dutiesMust have reliable transportationMust be able to work full work schedule and any additional overtime with little or no notificationMust be willing to work safely and follow all safety rules and regulationsMust follow all company and site rules and regulationsMust have required tools7/8" Scaffold WrenchWire CutterTorpedo LevelSteel Mill Head HammerTape MeasureCarpenter Belt7/8" Scaffold RatchetSafety Toed Boots* Commitment to Richard values, safety rules, and regulationsPreferred Additional Qualifications:Richard Construction Inc.
