Controller
Systems IV is a leading manufacturer of high-quality water treatment products.
We are looking for a dedicated, personable, hands-on Controller seeking a dynamic
opportunity to work for a subsidiary manufacturing firm of a larger publicly owned
company.
This position oversees all aspects of accounting operations, including internal controls,
accounts payable, accounts receivables, payroll, forecasting, SOX controls, and audit
support. Leads and manages the budgeting process and responsible for gathering
financial data for analysis and forecasting. In addition, this person will prepare and
present financial reports as required for local and parent company management.
Qualifications:
3+ years accounting experience
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost accounting principles
Proficient with Quickbooks software
Microsoft Excel skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively work with parent company accounting departments.
Strong leadership, analytical, quantitative, problem solving, technical and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Preparation of monthly financial statements.
Lead company efforts to plan and optimize the organization’s financial performance
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements and filings while adhering to GAAP standards
Improve overall operation and productivity of the corporation and safeguard the assets of the corporation
Maintenance of the Cost Accounting process and procedures
Analyze the results, developing trends and processes to help improve the profitability of the Company
Maintenance of fixed asset records and coordinate quarterly inventory of fixed assets
Implement, document, and maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations
Accurate and timely production of all financial information
Secondary Responsibilities:
Track and control product inventory
Developing purchasing strategies and reviewing project proposals
Researching and evaluating suppliers and negotiating contracts
Managing the purchasing process
Evaluating quality, price, reliability, technical support and availability of goods and services
Oversee product quality control

Compensation/Benefits:
110,000 to 130,000 yearly salary.
