Premier Sports Medicine (PSM) is currently seeking dynamic and dedicated Per Diem Athletic Trainers for upcoming events throughout **WASHINGTON**
These positions start at **$45Hour** and include professional liability insurance as well as supply reimbursement.
As a Per Diem Athletic Trainer with PSM, you will be able to earn extra income while providing exceptional healthcare to individuals that would otherwise not have access to it.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
If in a school environment, provide assessment and management of student-athlete injuries that occur during a school sponsored athletic activity, under the direction of the team physician by compliance with physician standing orders or by written referral from a physician, and in accordance with state statutes, practice acts and regulation for athletic trainers.
If at outreach events (i.e. tournaments, camps, leagues, etc) provide assessment and management of athlete injuries that occur during athletic activity, under the direction of the physician standing orders or by written referral from a physician, and in accordance with the state statutes, practice acts and regulation for athletic trainers.
Maintain client and PSM equipment and supplies.
Serves as a liaison with athletes, parents, physicians, coaches, and clinical professional staff.
Cover community events, school athletic events, or school practices as assigned.
Communicate, cooperate, and give assistance in a prompt and courteous manner to patients, athletes, co-workers, and medical staff to ensure “client satisfaction”.
Provide athletic injury evaluation, immediate care, and assist with the referral of injured athletes in accordance with generally accepted principles of athletic training services at a school or venue where present.
Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Position Requirements
Must be certified or eligible for certification by the Board of Certification (BOC).
Must be licensed or eligible for licensure by the state you will be practicing in.
Experience with recognition, evaluation, and immediate care of athletic injuries.
Demonstrated ability to evaluate an athlete’s progress through various stages of rehabilitation.
Demonstrated knowledge of safety practices, including safe operation of athletic training equipment.
Ability to perform the following functions regarding athletic injuries: prevention, assessment, treatment, (including first aide) and reconditioning.
Ability to instruct the athlete in therapeutic exercise, and strength and conditioning programs.
Ability to demonstrate proper taping, strapping, bracing, and fitting of athletic equipment.
Ability to perform duties in an efficient and independent manner with minimal supervision.
Must be able to adjust and adapt to changing work schedules.

Event housing may be available on a case by case basis
