Make Ready Lead / Carpentry

The Make Ready Lead position has the responsibility of leading a small team of 2-3 people to complete unit turns and small make ready projects. We are a property management company that manages mostly single family houses and small apartment buildings throughout St. Louis City and County. This is a scattered-site management company, and team members are expected to drive their own vehicle between sites. Mileage reimbursements are provided.TASKSComplete estimates and adhere to budgetary guidelinesMust have strong carpentry, drywall repair, and painting skillsAbility to complete repairs involving plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall and painting, carpentry, HVAC, etc.Tasks like installing cabinets, vanities, faucets, toilets, flooring, blinds, and others will be part of day to day tasksLead a small crew and be able to train new skills and develop a teamExecute comprehensive preventative maintenance programs on all buildings' systemsSemi-annual inspections of houses/apartments for plumbing issues, HVAC filters, etc.Maintain equipment, storage and work areas in a clean and orderly conditionMeet daily with maintenance teamDepending on work load, some maintenance work orders may be assigned to this team as well.REQUIREMENTSTime management and organizationThoroughness and attention to detailAble to carry 50+ poundsAble to climb ladders and stairsAble to lift over head at least 40 poundsQUALIFICATIONSPrior Maintenance Experience: 2-3 years minimum (Preferred)Driver's LicenseReliable VehicleProof of InsuranceSmartphoneOTHERRequired to have own basic toolsAvailable for occasional weekend or evening workSalary: $30 - $32 / hour based on qualificationsBENEFITSMedical, Dental, and VisionPaid VacationMileage Reimbursement
