Construction Inspector

Construction Inspector Location: Joint Base Langley-Eustis, VA (633 CES) Employment Type: Full-Time Clearance Required: Ability to obtain Secret clearance preferred About the Role: INTECON seeks Construction Inspectors to ensure construction contractor compliance with approved plans and specifications for F-22 FTU Beddown construction contracts. Responsibilities: - Ensure construction contractor compliance with approved plans and specifications - Inspect construction or renovation of large, complex administrative buildings, hangars, and aircraft maintenance facilities - Review construction contractor cost breakdowns, progress measurement data, and field inspection reports - Compute periodic payments and recommend approval/disapproval of contractor submittals and progress schedules - Prepare Construction Dailies and Weekly Activity Reports - Maintain daily logs and safety reports addressing construction progress and contract administration Required Qualifications: - Familiarity with 32 series Civil Engineer AFIs, Unified Facilities Criteria, and applicable building codes - Experience with construction inspection on large, complex facilities - Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications - Strong documentation and reporting skills Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with military construction (MILCON) projects - OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification - Prior experience supporting Air Force construction programs Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Paid time off Application Question(s): * What is your desired salary? * Do you have the ability to obtain Secret clearance?
