Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management & OwnershipTake full financial ownership of the US operations, with a total overview across the entities and business unitsFull financial accounting oversight- month end close, journal entries and general ledger maintenance, and ensuring accurate compilation and reporting of financial dataAct as trusted financial advisor to US management and HQSupport post-merger integration and ongoing financial coordinationGroup Reporting & ControlResponsible for the preparation and delivery of timely and accurate monthly and annual group financial reporting in accordance with group accounting standards. Scope includes financial statements, profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis, with strict adherence to applicable state, federal, and regulatory compliance requirements.Monitor financial performance, budgets, forecasts, and cash flowIdentify risks, opportunities, and improvement areas and proactively report these to US Management and HQStakeholder ManagementAct as the financial bridge between the US organization and HQMaintain close contact with local management teams to support decision-making and financial alignmentCollaborate closely with operations, HR and commercial teams of the two operating business unitsKey CompetenciesStrong financial leadership with hands-on ownership mentalityAbility to operate independently while working within an international group structureStrong project management and organizational skillsHigh level of accuracy, integrity, and compliance awarenessExcellent communication skills, able to interface with both local and international stakeholdersExperience & QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field7-10+ years of relevant finance experience, ideally within in transport, logistics, or supply chain environmentsStrong knowledge of US GAAP and corporate accountingExperience working in an internationally managed organization with group reporting and multi-entity structures is highly preferred
