Pharmacist In Charge (Pic) Retail - Full TimeThe Pharmacist in Charge reports to the DOO. And under general direction, ensures compliance with all applicable laws and regulations for a single pharmacy; dispenses prescribed medications; may provide functional supervision of professional, paraprofessional, and support staff; and performs related duties as required.Main Responsibilities:Ensure all prescriptions are input, filled and dispensed accurately, timely and within budgetResponsible for maintaining appropriate staffing levels to ensure operation runs smoothly within budgetDevelop supervisory staff, provide input and directions as neededIdentify and evaluate technology which has potential to improve efficiency in operationsOversee workflow; identify problem areas and implement process improvementsContribute to production by working as a pharmacist as requiredLiaison with President to resolve conflicting priorities (budget vs. level of service, etc.)Work with DOO/customer service to resolve all service issues in a timely manner to ensure the highest level of customer satisfactionWork with DOO/customer service to ensure that new business is on boarded smoothly and efficientlyOther essential functions and duties may be assigned as neededCreates a great consumer and clinic partner experience and continually builds solid relationships with both groups to proactively meet their needsEnsures operations of the pharmacy and team members follow policies and standards in accordance with state and federal lawsResponsible for financial profitability and identifies opportunities to drive growth in the pharmacyMotivates, develops and coaches all pharmacy staff to ensure they are meeting their potential and delivering exceptional serviceCreates an engaging team environment which promotes compassion and models our core values and culture amongst the teamProactively promotes opportunities and recruiting top talent at our pharmaciesReviews key performance indicators with pharmacy staff and identifies trends and opportunities for improvementConducts workforce planning and business planning to have operational excellence at the siteBuilds solid relationships with the community, stakeholders, and clinic partners to ensure we are meeting all needs and promote the pharmacy businessParticipate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agenciesParticipate in the Company's Performance Improvement program as requested by the Performance Improvement CoordinatorPhysical Requirements:The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit, as well as talk and hearThe employee is required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipmentThe employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 poundsMinimum Qualifications:Ability to organize and plan the activities of subordinates, and to delegate appropriatelyPharmacy Degree and State LicensureCompounding experienceCurrent knowledge of all applicable state and federal pharmacy laws, rules and regulationsPreferred Qualifications:Two plus years of experienceLeadership experience including interviewing and training skillsBenefit summary/EEOC Statement/Drug-Free and testing Offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefit package which includes medical, dental and vision plans through CareFirst (a Client Cross plan); employer paid long-term disability coverage and life insurance; an employer matched 401K plan; paid time off and paid holidays.
