Duties Assist with menu planning by suggesting new dishes and seasonal specials that align with customer preferences. Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating ingredients efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards at all times. Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food while adhering to presentation standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and special events. Qualifications Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or culinary setting. Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques. Experience working in fine dining environments is highly desirable. Knowledge of dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Solid understanding of food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Excellent teamwork, communication skills, and a positive attitude toward service excellence.
